New Sock/Pic of Old Sock/SAE/Lonely/BLEH!!

I'm making another sock...Not the mate to the one I just made...But a different one. It's going to be black with a white heel. Its mate will be white with a black heel. Then I might make two more corresponding socks so I can have suitable matches. Right now it's just a supply-and-demand thing:I have enough black Cascade for one sock, and enough white Cascade for one sock.

I've finally got one picture of the first sock:

Just picture a few more inches of stockinette and a little ribbing at the top:)It's so big that I can fit my entire converse inside of it:-D

In Ag. Tech., we are supposed to be doing this project called an SAE ("supervised agricultural experience"), and I decided that I'm going to do woodworking:a roll-out cabinet that I can fit under my bed to hold my knitting stuff:) There-hopefully-will be slots for my needles, a few shelves for my yarn, little boxes for those rubbery things you put at the end of your work to keep your work from slipping off (what are those things CALLED??!!! I can't ever remember!!), stitch markers, etc., and maybe a glass display area for my beautiful sock and whatever I finish afterwards:) I'm so excited...Maybe my dad will make me some wooden stitch markers...that would be cool:)
