Anyhoo, I now use said camera to show you pictures of my current projects OTN:
The cabled legwarmer:

I started it a few weeks ago, but had to put it away so I could work on Christmas presents. It actually started out as a sock, but after considering buying legwarmers with my Christmas money, I realized that people would be constantly asking me if I made them. So I decided to make some with the purple knitpicks, b/c I hate saying I didn't make something over and over again...
And, while we're still on cables (which are not visible in this photograph that was taken by shaky hands):

I started this scarf (without a pattern--Woot!Woot!) with the leftover cotton-sock yarn on Christmas Eve, futilely hoping that I could knit and knit and knit all night and then give it to my daddy for Christmas. Needless to say, I did not accomplish this goal...
Remember that Artyarns Supermerino I talked about in my first post? Probably not. Anyhoo, I forgot all about it until yesterday, when I started this hat:

(It's dyelot #130, and prettier than this photo shows...) I started this-my first-hat last night, with Ski Spree 2007-my youth ski trip-coming up next week...I thought it would be cool to have a hat that I made to protect my gorgeous locks...I love this yarn!! I think I'll buy some more, and make another hat...After all, it's, like, an 8 hour drive!
Comments:
1.Any tips on photography? I'm obviously not very good at it.
2.I lost the tag to the supermerino...I know it's superwash, but can it go in the dryer?
3.If you felt something, block it, get it dirty, and put it in the wash, will it just felt some more?
4.Can you put felted items in the dryer?

OK, I know I'm not a knitter, but it seems pretty obvious to me that you can put felted things in the drier. It's not like they're going to shrink; that happened when you felted them. Maybe you knitter ppl know some secret law of yarn that I've never heard of, but that's what seems logical to me.

1. a tripod sometimes help to keep your photographs from being taken by shakey hands, you can borrow mine sometime!
2. what is the supermerino
3. no, it won't felt more, if you don't like how something felted (the shape it dried in) then you can just get it wet again and shape it again! it can't felt again!
4. yes you can put felted items in the dryer! wait... maybe.... i don't know i think you can.... i'm not sure! i always hang dry my stuff!
